the Plan
-Camp at Wentworth Springs Campground thursday, Friday and Saturday Night
-We will be doing day trips on the Loon to Wentworth Springs Loop.
-We will be doing trips into Spider and beyond
-You can show up whenever you want. Ill get the times of the planned trips updated here soon.

The Requirements
-Visibly charged fire extinguisher (BC or ABC)
-First aid kit
-Adequate spare tire, jack and lug wrench
-Safety belts for driver and any current passenger
-Adequate attachment points in the front and rear of the vehicle:
-Acceptable forms of attachment points: (All Items must be mounted in a manner to provide adequate strength and integrity)
-Tow hooks of OEM or greater integrity,D-Rings,Shackle/Clevis
-20ft 10,000lb snatch strap without any metal hooks
-Secured battery (no bungee cords)
-31"+ tires (33's are recommended)
-Bring your own air compressor to air your tires up.
-Spare parts, drive shaft u-joints, spares for whatever non-standard parts installed on your rigs (highly recommended)
-Mini skids or reinforced LCA brackets, a t-case skid, and a gas tank skid HIGHLY recommended. These are things that are REALLY HARD to fix on the trail (again highly recommended)
-Most importantly! A GOOD ATTITUDE (This trip will not be about who has a bigger ****. If it turns into that, I will have no problem with not asking you to come back on any other future trips. Its all about having fun, learning, and getting drunk around the campfire telling big lies about the days events.

Five more days!
working on the jeep today. new front spring bushings, and mirrors. the other day my jeep started a death wobble so bad the glass on my mirror flew out. i hope the bushings help. couldnt find anything else loose in the front. maybe just a little play in passenger wheel bearing but almost not noticeable . i just need to change the gear oil in the rear diff , put in a new cb cable, take the soft top off, and pack
thursday is almost here. death wobble fixed!
I had a conversation with one of the Rangers, up at the Georgetown station, a few years back. She said that they don't honor the online fire permits. Brent Skaggs is out of the Sequoia National Forrest.

i didnt see it was sequoia. i did find an official site that u watch a video, take a test and get a permit printed in your name and the date u took it. it stores it on there site well. looks like they couldnt complain about this one. its funny every time i go into the ranger station there was never any type of training or test required. the online one is at least some kind of fire education,
