I have a 99 model tj sport that I bought wrecked and decided to rebuild, in the process I ran across a rolled 03 model rubicon cheap as well. I decided to swap axles and put the rubicon axles under my sport, and when I went from my 30's and 35's to 44's, my drive shafts are now too long. I have a 4" lift on my sport and I know I need a slip yoke eliminator, and the rubicon 241 transfer case was broken, so I'm curious if I can just pull the tail shaft out of my np241j, and put it in my 231, and avoid buying a sye, and jûst buy a cv shaft.
