I have an 01 Wrangler that had rotted through the front drivers & passengers floor, and some frame rot by those damn holes by the back wheels. I got a welder friend to cut out the rot and replace with new metal/plugging up holes as well but only patched the major problem areas. I know my patch-job isnt as strong as stock with no issues but would a rebuilt frame be?

Contemplating buying a used 02 Wrangler that had an entire new frame put on. Would a new frame be stronger than a stock frame with no rot from the start? Or is the completely rebuilt frame on this one I'm looking at stronger than a stock frame that never had any issues (garage kept, not in snowy areas etc)?

New frame vs stock frame when new, I believe are one in the same. Someone can correct me, but I don't think that any aftermarket company make a replacement frame.

As far as a rebuilt frame vs a stock frame, depends on how strong it was rebuilt.
