I haven't been on it quite some time, still rocking 2 Jeeps though! Moved to Florida and have a super neighbor that needs to sell some of his toys.
1986 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER (SJ)
Driven regularly, this Grand Wagoneer is a great place to start a restoration or drive as is with a little TLC. The odometer reads 139,782 and is believed to be correct.
It is equipped with the 360 V8, 727 Auto Transmission, Selec-Trac 4-Wheel Drive, Limited-Slip differential, and Dana 44 axles.
The only non-functioning item on the Jeep is the air conditioning. It does not work, but the heater, vents, and fan do.
The Interior is original and in decent shape. It still has original Jensen factory stereo and speaker option. The power windows and locks ALL work, INCLUDING the tailgate glass! The power seats function and other than normal fading of carpet and certain materials, the wear and tear is pretty good for a vehicle of this age. All carpets and materials are available aftermarket for this Jeep.
The body has been repainted once from the original brown color. It is very solid with only a few minor bumps and bruises. All body moldings for the side wood-grain package are included with the vehicle.
This Jeep comes with many used, but very decent parts. The most prominent is the extra full tailgate and glass that work (power tested). An additional transfer case, full grill, front bumper, some interior, electrical, distributor, trim, tail light parts, a new carburetor, and even a wheel is all included.
Restored, these vehicles are starting to go for very big money. A quick check of the internet will show you how these are gaining in serious value.
