Do not have pic but will try to get one. Found out vehicle is 1956 CJ3, not 1953 as first thought. By arched, I mean that instead of being completely horizontal, the fenders extend out straight ahead from the car body over the front tires, then angle down perhaps 30 or 40 degrees for another foot or so. All other pictures I see online show Jeeps with completely horizontal fenders. I will write the current owner and see if I can get a picture for you.
1953 CJ3 Fender Style(s)?
Have 1953 CJ3 with arched front fenders. All pix I see everywhere show flat fenders. Can't figure out how mine got the way it is (yeah, okay, maybe someone replaced the flat originals with arched ones). Comments, anybody?
