Hey guys. Simple question I can't find the answer to. Does the low pressure return hose have to be a special material or can I use normal, rubber hose since it's not under pressure?

Can you replace the low pressure switch without venting the system? I need to replace the switch, but I don't know if all the freon is gonna come out. It would be lovely if the bung was fitted with a schrader valve to maintain system pressure when changing the switch.
