I have a 1991 xj with an AX15 swapped into it. The clutch went bad and I can’t seem to find a new clutch for it. It has an internal slave cylinder. Can anyone share where to find a clutch?

I've searched around and from what I've seen so far I'm looking at an input shaft bearing as the culprit. The posts I've read don't quite match the symptoms I have so I just want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction. The vehicle is a 1990 Wrangler with the 2.4L, 5 Speed manual...

Hey there, owner of a Manual 4.0 I6 1992 Sport. Recently the clutch pedal went out and the car doesn't go into gear while running. I assume there's a leak in the clutch master cylinder, Does anyone else have any viewpoints on the issue? Also, who knows how to bleed the clutch on a manual XJ? I...

I have recently been having trouble with my clutch, and I am going to do a bleed of the fluid, and I saw that the quick disconnect connector to the slave cylinder is missing an o ring. Does anyone know the order of o rings and washers that go inside of the quick disconnect connector? Thanks

Planning some work on the 2004 TJ, and recently ordered a Centerforce Clutch Throwout Bearing from Quadratec, and just realized that it is listed to fit Wrangler from 94-03, P/N N1764. Centerforce's website has the N1764 listed to fit a range of models and engines, but under separate listings...

I have tried to search online for a list of things to check but all I can find is "did you check the Clutch Safety Switch??????" Yes, that was the first thing I did. It creates a circuit when depressed fully. I also get power to the plug that the switch plugs into. When I do need to move it I...

t150 shifts gears when not running but no dice when running. Starting simple with filling and checking transmission fluid but this fill plug seems impossible unless there is some kind of square of hex indentation on the top. Anyone have any idea what would go in the top of it so I could...

I have a 1990 YJ with the 4.2L engine and 5 speed transmission. I have replaced the clutch assembly with a new flywheel, pressure plate, slave cylinder and master cylinder. The problem I am having is the clutch will not disengage after I drive for about 5 minutes. I have replace the new master...

Hello fellow YJ AX15ers with the trusty internal slave :| I've been poking around and have found a lot of threads on my slave and master cylinder and all the problems that I am having. I have not found an answer to this yet. I replaced my Master and Slave on the internal AX15. I did not...

Okay folks, this is my first post so please bare with me if it's not in the correct location. I have been having a few clutch problems, and I decided to start with replacing the master / slave cylinder. My question here is... where is the slave cylinder located (Driver/Passenger side...

I have a '98 4.0 TJ, I just replaced the entire clutch assembly with a new one. Works fine but has this annoying click. It is NOT the Clutch Sensor Spring that sits on the plunger link. I couldn't show it in my video (Only two hands) but I have compressed that spring sensor and then pressed the...

Changing clutch, popped out pilot bearing using a slide hammer. I dont know if I did it or PO but i found a gouge when i inspected. Is this piece removable? I dont even know what to call it. Tried putting in the new pilot bearing from clutch kit but i think it got caught or i bent it because...

After experiencing all the headaches of the stock bellcrank linkage I've decided to do the hydraulic conversion using the 1980s 4 cylinder parts. I already have the 1976+ bellhousing with the tab on the driver side and 2 screw holes to accommodate the slave cylinder. My only question is whether...

As the title says, I'm having issues with my clutch. It's driving perfectly fine, but whenever I push down the clutch pedal, I hear a very loud metal scraping. The scraping keeps up for about a second after I remove my foot. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or not, but I think I also smell...

When I go to dis-engage my clutch, I barely have to touch the pedal now. The clutch re-engages at what feels like a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch from the pedal being fully released. Is this just a pedal adjustment, or how do I check that the clutch doesn't need to be replaced yet. Still seems to grab just...

Hi Am in the middle of a '84 CJ rebuild (4 cylinder/-T4). First Jeep experience so each step is a first. Ordered and installed clutch and pressure plate. When I turned attention to bell housing and clutch arm, I noticed that the set up does not match what I think is the conventional CJ setup...

I have a 2000 TJ with a 4.0 liter engine. I came to a stop and pushed my clutch in and it hit the floor. The tow truck driver told me that is sounded like the hydraulic line went out. We opened the reservoir and the fluid was gone. May I get suggestions on what steps I need to take to fix.

I was wondering the connection looked right. I'm not sure how long that connection is, but there seems to be a lot of space between the dimple and the connector. Also, that "locking collar" worked loose while I was bleeding the cylinder. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen.

I've done some searching and can't find anything specific around this so I'm hoping to get some verification from the group here. Some background: I have a 2005 6-speed LJ Rubicon with about 80,000 miles on it. The previous owner had installed a 3.5" rubicon express lift and 35" tires, but...
