Does anyone know if there is a difference in the valve covers between '92 and 93'+ Wranglers with a 4.0L? I've seen some aftermarket ones that say '93+ and have a different oil fill hole than mine. Just curious if there are any other differences because I want to get a nice aluminum valve cover.

Hey guys, Probably a dumb question. My brake pedal was hitting the floor, causing me to think that I needed to bleed my brakes. Well I did and as I was filling the master cylinder, I play with the rubber boot that sits inside the cap to the master cylinder. I extended the cap and realized it...

I have a '98 Wrangler with the 4.0L engine. At 146k miles a piston skirt broke, so I tore it apart and rebuilt the engine from the ground up. Before, the oil fill cap used to get stuck and I would nearly destroy it trying to get it out of the valve cover. It's been 10k miles since the rebuild...

I am having problems with my coolant system. In October I replaced my water pump and radiator(it was a radiator for an automatic, i just ignored the transmission cooler lines). The jeep ran fine for 3 months and the radiator went bad again. I replaced it with another radiator(once again it had...

I've pretty much narrowed down an intermittent cooling issue to a cap that's not holding the pressure it needs to. I'm not saying the cap is bad though....it could be that the way I have the system set up doesn't work right. So my question is, what PSI radiator cap do I want considering the...

It's time for a new cap and rotor. I'd like to drive to one spot and be sure I'm going to get a cap and rotor with brass, not aluminum, contacts. Any suggestions? Thank you.

How hard is to change out a master cylinder. I have a 79 cj7 that is leaking at the lid and I can't get it to stop.

Checking the fluid level of my clutch reservoir and I noticed the rubber part of the cap was fully extended into the fluid. Is that normal or does it need to be folded up inside of itself like and some brake system lids? here's a pic....

My jeep was running funny this morning and I went to check the cables and found this: Obviously I need to replace the cap and button, but Is this a sign of another bigger problem? Does my distributor need to be replaced? Thanks for any advice.

So I was Working on extracting a broken bolt from my rear yoke and noticed one of the "ears" that holds the cap in place when the ujoint is placed is a bit tweaked. My question is first did I make any sense there and second does that ear see any torsional forces, I.e. Do i need to replace the yoke?
