I tried to search for this, but came up with no definitive answer. I'm currently running a 2" budget boost (spring spacer lift) with 32" tires. Looking to upsize to 33" tires and therefore adding a 1" or 1.25" body lift to clear the larger rubber. A rep from Quadratec told me that I need...

So the time has finally come to install the budget boost I've had sitting on the shelf for the past five years. A friend gave me a set of 2" spacers and at the time I bought new bump stop extensions w/ bolts, and I finally buckled down and ordered some replacement shocks from Rusty's (RX100's...

If I want my Wrangler TJ to be comfortable on the road with good ride quality, but also capable on the trails and climbing hills on the weekends, can anyone give me setup advice? I want to run 31 or 33 inch tires. I don’t need to do anything bigger than that or the mods that come along with it...

May be a dumb question, but I'm looking into buying another ZJ, and the one I'm looking at has a 3 inch lift that the guy stuffed 33's under. Obviously there will be a lot of rubbing, so I'm wondering if it's possible to correct the problem by adding a budget boost. If so, how much of a lift...

Ive been looking through some threads but haven't found what I'm looking for. What are your thoughts? I have a 2.5" suspension lift. What are your thoughts on adding a 2" BB and 1.25" BL? Would this be totally stupid? If not should i do a MML and/or transfer case drop? Just seeing what people...

Hello all, I have been considering getting a lift for my TJ. I am on a tight budget (college student) but I have been wheeling my jeep more often and I could use a little extra height. I am considering a Budget boost. Before I got my jeep I lifted a truck and it caused significant issues. What...

Hello everyone I am soon getting a 1999 WJ Laredo and had a few questions about what to get. I am a student so I don't have a lot to throw at this but am hoping to build it up over time. The tires that are currently on it are highway tires (almost bald) I have already picked out General...

I'm currently installing a 3" budget boost on my '99 TJ. I'm trying to put the front spring spacer on, but it's so tight I can't get it to fit over the bump stop extension. I've got it about half way up. I have a mallet and it won't budge any higher. This doesn't seem to be a common problem...

I'm installing a 2" BB (budget boost) and the guys that sold me the spacers didn't tell me that I needed bump stop extensions. I didn't find out that I need them until I already had the spring out. She's my daily driver and I need her back together by Monday. What can I use as a bump stop...

I have a 95 zj with a np249 Quadr-Trac system that is so far stock save for an exhaust. I'm looking at a Budget boost, (I have my eye on Rough Country's 1.5 budget boost) however on their site it says not for AWD. Is that the Quadra-Trac np249 that I have? Why wouldn't this kit work and can...

Hey everyone, I have an 06 Grand Cherokee, I put on a rough country 2in budget boost, and the time has come to get new tires. I would like the biggest I can fit, but do not want to get wheel spaces as I heard they aren't that safe. Is there anyway to go wider and taller with out them? I know...

I have a 94 ZJ with a 4" Rough Country lift with NON-adjustable control arms. I want to install the 2" coil spacers but I'm worried it will mess up my drive shaft and possibly my rear wheels because the control arms might pull them forward. So, is anybody here running this set up? Let me know if...

I'm pretty sure that there have been threads about this before, but I'm looking at putting a 2" - 3" budget boost on my 97 ZJ and was looking for some advice on brands, difficulties and any problems that you guys may have had with your own experiences.

Was reading around multiple forums and I saw of people taking cheap lowering shackles and installing them backwards to add a quick small lift. Is this possible at all and if so are the shackles below suitable for doing so on a 94 XJ...

Hi All, I have an 03 TJ with a 4 liter, AT, dana 44 rear with LS, a skyjacker BB lift, and 31" tires. The jeep has 95k on it and the lift was installed about 40k ago. There were slight drive train vibes right after install on acceleration between 15 and 30 mph. Just last week I started...

Just installed some 2" coil spacers and skyjacker hydro 7000 shocks. Didn't realize until I was installing them my sway bar will be pulled down at a different angle now. Is this a problem? I see that you can buy longer links, are they really needed though for a 2" lift?

I just bought 2" coil spacers and skyjacker hydro 7000 shocks. I put the shocks on already. The coil spacers didn't come with any extra hardware... and I have no idea how they fit into the bumpstops or anything... any info appreciated. Thanks

Ok, so I'm running in circles concerning what I want to do. I'm replacing my 200k shocks on my stock suspension. I want to go with Bilsteins (I think). My options: 1) 5100 + 1.5" BB (possibly 2" but that might be pushing it) 2) 4600 stock 3) 4600 with small (1" - 1.5") BB <-- is this even...
