Perhaps a naive question folks but given the new transmission and shifter in the 2012 (I have a 2 door Rubicon) - it looks easy to accidentally downshift to 1 from 5 (Drive) at 70mph on the highway. Are there protections built into the system to keep this from happening?

i have never pulled a transmission before so i could use some pointers. Its a 4.0 withan auto trans. What i rely need to know is if i should take the t-case out with it and how many bolts hold it on not including the bell housing. any information will help. Thanks
