Grand Wagoneer
1988 Wagoneer Grand Wagoneer

This is mine (and my husband's ) 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. When we bought her, she had around 88,000 miles and we originally used her as a tow vehicle for our camper. This spring, we decided to build in a digital photo booth to the back. My husband made a custom, oak tailgate for her and she's quite the looker now :) She still needs a little body work and the vinyl is peeling on the driver's side a little but that doesn't stop people from admiring her/asking to look inside when we're at events ;)

That brings back memories.. my dad was the plant manager for the jeep plant from 1976 to 1979. When i was 16, every six months he would ask me what kind of jeep i would like, he would order it up and i would drive it for the next 6 months. In the winters i had a white jeep grand wagoneer with wood grain trim, leather seats, deep pile carpeting, power everything, and an 8 track player. It had quadratrack, so you just aimed it up the hill and hit the gas! What fun! He had 6300 people under him at the plant. I drive a 1999 jeep cherokee with 215k miles today. Jeeps are the best:)
