I got the Jeep from the original owner in 2014. He had lent it to his son who overheated the engine while pulling a trailer up a hill in the summer with a power steering leak (point of failure for a hydraulic fan). The dealership wanted more than the value of the Jeep to repair it, so PO gave up. PO builds race cars and kept great records of what was done to the Jeep, so I told him I'd take it when he said he was giving it away. For the price of a rebuilt engine I have a practically brand new WJ. It's not my first color choice and I'm not a huge fan of leather, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. This is the first "truck" that I have ever owned/worked on. For now it is stock, but that will change soon.
