I have my 71 cj6 ex boarder patrol rig, started life with a simple old school set up and went from there! Had 231 v6 sm465 Dana 20 scout 44 Dana 30 4:88 gears spring over w/35's! It started with a simple frame swap and took off!!!!!!!!! Fully boxed and reinforced 57 frame, TBI 350 nv4500 203/205 doubler, Dana 60 front& rear, detroit lockers f&r, full psc steering setup, SAMs off road traction bar, off road design hysteer, triple stick shifter, hydro boost brakes, two power steering pumps w/ psc resaviors... One for brakes, box, ram. Other for a mile marker 12000 hydro winch. Body is totally custom! My original body was rust free but cracking up badly! The frame broke in half and the body was keeping every thing together!!! Took the back half of the 71 body and put a 76 CJ5 front half on it! Then I plated it all in 1/8 steel, no bondo at all. Every thing is metal and welded! With the 76 front section and cowel I now have a heater box, late model cj7 pedals, nice fire wall and just a much better design over what was there. 37" bfg km2, 4" Yj springs sprung over. Poison spider tube fenders front and rear 4" flare.full hard top and doors and full soft top, Custom gas tank. Bunch more stuff like $1,200 stainless steel dash, auto meter gauges, siren & p.a., tuffy EVERY THING! and more!!! Should be on the road soon for a shake down then take apart and paint every thing and put crome everywhere. After all that its going to be, how hard I can thrash her!!!!! Haha

You can see where I had to cut the PSC tube fender in half to work with the early Cj short front end

Did you make that roll cage or buy it? If you bought it where from?

My friend has a shop south of San Francisco, I told him what I wanted and he built a perfect cage, he also made up the sliders.
