      Had a brilliant idea to rewire my door wires into one big plug to make going doorless easier:

      Any reasons this wouldn't work? Figure I can buy two and cut them in half to have two male ends and two female ends.

      seems solid if the wire guages are ok and all. I would look for one with a rubber boot in case some water got on it

      I was thinking about something like this for the driver's door, fewer pins needed on the others.

      Also was planning on using a second, two-wire plug for speaker connection, just in case I build tube or half-doors with speakers in 'em.
