So, I just bought a bunch of stuff for my 1994 YJ, including a Wiring harness. It looks basically like this one: http://www.quadratec.com/products/92015_03.htm , but my YJ has flat plugs that connect to the lights instead of the square ones. I can't find any 't' connectors that have the flat connections, only the square style connectors. Is there a connection somewhere that I am missing, or does no one sell connectors for 94 YJ's?

You could also go to any parts sore, walmart and get a trailer kit for your jeep.

Joined·848 PostsIf not, check Q-tec. They have an excellent [lug and play set up for the YJ. I used it. Water-resistant plugs, no cutting and splicing. About $20.

I found three different "plug and play" sets, I assume it should be as simple as unplugging a harness or two, and installing a bypass/tap (T-Connector) connector between the factory harness and where it was plugged into.
The problem is I found three kits, two looks similar, but one, the T connector plug shape looks radically different. Which one of these will work, and work most simply without running wires to the battery or tapping any wires. I'd rather spend $25 on one of these kits rather than buy a receiving 4-pin connector and splicing wires.

Which of these three will work best? The two ebay ones look like the kit sold on quadratec that is for 98-200? models and excludes 1997. The hidden hitch brand (first link) is what I'd rather go with as it is most simple, but is it something that is designed for adding to another Hidden Hitch brand product, or just happens to be that brand and works on any 1997 Wrangler.
