      05 Unlimited

Here is my 2005 Unlimited with the 4" Rough Country X Series kit installed. Falken Wildpeak 315x70x17 AT's on JK Wheels
More to come, I just bought this thing.

One suggestion. Find a work around for the rear shock bolts that will break in salty climates.

osmosiz ive looked at seemingly 100 different 4 inch lift setups and i was wondering what setup you went with and how its working out. you seem to put yours to the test which i definately am going to do. i was also wondering if you did any body lift at all and if your tires were actual 33 1250s or a metric equivelant. again thanks for the help and im diggin your tj!
hey thanks man, BTW Welcome to JF! im running the rough country lift..
      http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_tj_4.html
its alright, i didnt get the 2.2 shocks so mine are kinda stiff, and the arms that it comes with are only the lowers and their fixed, after about 2 months they start making noises and i always have to keep checking them to make sure there all torqued properly. on the plus side, it does get the job done. eventually im going to replace all the arms with some adjustables.
there is a better lift that RC makes:
      http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_tj_4x.html
but its a little more pricey. i have no problem recommending RC's products to anyone, ive been running them for almost a year and ive certainly put them to the test. its a great starter kit... something you can build off of.
As far as a body lift, i dont need one right now for my 33x12.5x15. which with a 7 inch wide rim so it measures out to 34x11.5 .. also i run the spidertrax spacers so theyll fit with my stock rims. eventually ill get a 1 inch body lift when i run 35's but for now im good.

hey guys, so i think i am going to go with the rc 4" x-series kit.. it looks like a great deal, good lift, perfect for what i want to do with, and if i end up going to 35's eventually, i will already be equipped..

      BUT..

now i am wondering if i should look away from the regular RC 4" x-series kit and go with the RC 4" x-series LONG ARM kit..

Yea im DEFINITELY going to go with the long arm kit for a couple hundred more i think.. WHY NOT!?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT U GUYS THINK!!

Best value 4" kit to me. 8 adjustable flex arms, front adjustable trac bar, discos, springs, shocks, extended brake lines, etc. RC also offers a 10% discount to jeep forum members.

You should be able to get a CV driveshaft with the cash you have left over.
