loud, squeaky clutch when depressed
Hello everyone!I am the proud owner of a 2002 5 speed, 6cyl TJ. She’s been brought back to life two times in the last two years, most recently being a few months ago, and I am now experiencing a clutch issue. Every time i depress the clutch, it makes an extremely loud squeaking sound that immediately goes away when i release the clutch. I haven’t noticed anything different in how the clutch feels nor in how the car runs, but I’m aware it’s simply a matter of time before I run into total clutch failure. In the little research I’ve done, it seems like this maybe a throwout bearing issue? If that’s the case, do I have to take it in immediately to get it fixed? I know this is a dumb question but I’m a 20 yr old on her own out here just trying to get her baby fixed!! Any information will be super super helpful!! Thank you so much!!
