Where are you located? I know that some overseas manufacturers continued building CJs much longer, but 1986 was the last year of the CJ in the U.S. Also, the CJ6 ceased production after 1975.

Yeah, those pictures are of a pre-1972 CJ5. The curvy door opening and the short front fenders are the giveaways.

I agree that you need to check out the VIN and confirm what you're looking at.

Honestly, I've probably got close to that in mine, plus labor. With that being said, in using even heavier wire than them, plus a custom box and extra redundancy built in.
