I have Polk DX6 6.5's in the back of my 98 Cherokee and they fit fine (with a depth of 2 9/16").

This 4 ohm DVC woofer is 4 ohms per each of the two voice coils. Running a 4 ohm DVC sub wired as in the diagram will yield a 2 ohm load on the amp....
