Bad rear wheel bearing

I replaced my tires at 32,000 I guess. I still had a noise from the rear that kept getting louder. The dealer replaced a bad wheel bearing and the noise was gone.

Bad rear wheel bearing

The noise from the rear was still there after new tires. Finally turned it over to the dealer. They replaced the right rear wheel bearing and now its smooth and quiet.

Very good on the road - drive out of ditch? No.

The winter here in Michigan came late. My Compass was great on snow and ice covered roads. It also went through a field with a foot of snow on it.

I did a test to see if it would drive out of a...

Wonderfull on back roads and twisty blacktop.

My Compass drives great on back roads. It floates over the bumps well. This may have something to do with the aluminum block/head engine. Less weight to control.
