The Grand Cherokee (WK2) isn't very large. Jeep managed to pack quite a lot into a relatively compact package. But it's all relative. If you're used to driving smaller vehicles it'll feel bigger....

That's a limiting strap hook and, as you found out, they gave you the wrong part.

You need the hook for the front door. They gave you the rear door hook (for the 4 door models)....
