now that im thinking about it, inside the renix distributor there is something you can flip over for high altitude that will change the timing slightly. i cant remember what, but i remember doing it...

moving the distributor wont change anything at all.

you can ovalize the holes in the crank position sensor and move it to adjust timing slightly, i think you can go +/- 1.5* or so.

thats absolute bull. they screwed up your motor, probably running it with out oil, and you should get a laywer and demand that they replace your motor.

motor mounts are the same 87-01....

engine bracket mounting bolts are also the same, including on the 4.2 blocks

youre best bet is to use a renix block, they're suposedly the strongest, didnt have the girdle.

yes, the clutches will last longer, i just had the TV cable opened all the way on my jeep, it was pretty firm, but makes no difference at WOT, because thats how it was normally at WOT

thats the most retarded thing ive ever heard, theres not even pressurized oil pressure to the head of a 4.0, the rockers are fed through the push rods, i dont care how much volume the pump is making...
