Kicker Hideaway Powered Sub Review

Hello all,

I just installed a Kicker Hideaway powered sub in my '99 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I have to say, for what it is, I'm quite impressed. It fits under the rear seat, was pretty easy to...

SpiderWebShade Mesh Safari Top for 97 Jeep TJ

I've been looking for a mesh safari top for my 97 TJ. After checking reviews, I decided on the SpiderWebShade SW1. It's a decent top, but there are a few things that would make me not buy it again. I...

Sorry, when I replied I didn't see ALL of the responses. I didn't replace the slave--I'll have to check on the plastic cap. I'm pretty sure the clutch is original--it has around 160,000 miles on it....

It's been a while since I've been around, but I'm baaack!

Picked up a '97 Sport with 5-speed a few months ago. Recently the transmission slave and master cylinders were replaced. The last couple...

I'm going to start off pretty mild, just changing some colors and such. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on painting my grill with copper paint (the kind made from actual copper flakes so I can...

Overall, it feels a little more "Jeepy" than stock, but I think it's more from the new suspension than the tires. Still very driveable and stable, doesn't lean more or feel spongy--if anything a bit...

After a torrential downpour last night with no doors, this morning I pulled the carpet and drain plugs. Everything's A-OK, except now the thing is begging me to bedline it!

What Farmdiesel said. I have those wheels on my '11 JKUR, and it was close, but no caliper rubbing. The 3.75" of backspacing seems to be the key. One thing to note--I have 35's, and I had to trim the...

OK, stupid question here, based on total ignorance. Stepped behind my '11 JKU and noticed that the rear differential breather tube was hanging down, almost to the ground. In trying to figure out...

Very, very nice! I pretty much only like the looks of black wheels on Jeeps, especially on a black Jeep, but I gotta say, those wheels are wicked!

For 15's, as far as cheap steel wheels go, 3.75" of backspacing seems to be the magic bullet for not having to grind the calipers. That's the info I've been able to find, and I had no caliper...
