That is likely a symptom of the master being too large for the calipers. The dual diaphragm booster (or hydro-boost) would probably help since it should up the force being put into the master....

The length difference is only a couple inches between the aw4 and the other transmissions you listed. It might be an issue if you don't stretch the wheelbase at all if you combine those couple inches...

I ran it through the recovery cycle multiple times just to make sure. I gave up when the battery was getting hot and started hissing.
