Yes they are autos. The gearing on a 46re from 1 to 4 is 2.45:1, 1.45:1, 1:1 and .69:1 as an OD. The 727 is the same but with no OD.

A TF904 would be 2.70:1, 1.54:1 and 1:1 with no OD.
