Then it dried out faster than I thought it would. No mystery there. When I said an hour or more of driving I was talking worst case scenario. I assumed it would dry out within 20 minutes or less....

Yes it's custom. You could just get your seat bottom reupolstered and leave the seat back stock like I did. Only half the cost that way, and in my case it was the result I wanted anyway.

I sold it for same as I bought it for 6 years ago, but I didn't get back the thousands in improvements and mods. It had 33K miles when I bought it. 43K when I sold it.
