I want to replace my CJ tilt column....I HATE the lever you have to push to turn the ignition....and it hard to hit the dimmer switch because of my roll...

It's hard to reach the dimmer...

SR with no lift is really no better than stock setup. Springs are flat...as the axle moves...

If you can't get (or afford) SS bolts, Anti-Seize grease is a good option.

If you do use SS bolts....Anti-seize is still a good option....

May I suggest a different spring perch. I've destroyed my springs with spring wrap...

But....if you have 5-6" of lift with springs on a shackle reversal...well....it's not going to perform as well as SOA.

Key feature of SOA.....you can use...

I had a buddy who did one.....then later went SOA.....no comparison....SOA with stock springs worked much better.

Before I did my SOA, I did a u-bolt reversal....had some square ones made and made a custom cap on top.
