When I tore my boot, I thought I'd just mirror what I had on my aftermarket rear driveline and installed a Spicer 211121X Dust Cap Assembly on my front driveline. I like it much better than the boot.

The other rigs were most likely running wheels that were 8" wide. The narrower width is better at holding a bead vs wider.

I've run both BDS and OME and for the most part the ride and performance was very similar. OME did have a better ride on high speed conditions like desert racing.

The stock Gambler wheels have a backspacing of 5.25" which interfered with my SwayLoc swaybar passenger arm. I had to install 1.25 spacers/adapters which helped somewhat by changing my backspacing...
