Looks like page 4 has a tear in it and didn't scan correctly so beware of how the wires run.

You will have to mentally shift the wires a little to the left in these areas...

Same years as yours. And that one had the block mounted Temperature...

It's actually measuring the current as it passes through to the sending unit.

I can't think of a terminal on the alternator that only has power when the engine is running vs when the ignition is ON.

There should be a Red and Yellow wire going to the plug....

Don't think the 2" lift will effect the length to much,
