Check your exhaust system for clearance or worn bushings...the twist of motor may be causing something to vibrate. It has been the source of many strange sounds under your described situation.

I bought my current 06 LJ in January for $7700. 142K miles on her, Stock, past wreck, a few dings, needed new windows, front universals, brakes and tires. She is a gem though ;-)
