You'd be better off with 33,s and 4.88,s. I've got 35,s with 4.88,s and a 6 cylinder , and it's still a stone.

No...that would be going in the wrong direction. Your tranny has a crazy tall overdrive. You would want to go to a 4.88, or 5.13.

Mine did the same thing. I shut it off. An hour later, went to start,nothing but the speedo going crazy. I cleaned the battery connections, and all was well.

If you're still running 4.10,s with 35,s , that's really working the transmission. A set of 5.38,s and a cooler, and the tranny will have an easier, and probably longer life.

I had that happen when the speedo plug wasn't...

I had that happen when the speedo plug wasn't connected properly at the transfer case. I broke the retainer when I disconnected it to replace the clutch, and I had to tie-wrap it to hold it in place....

I've been using the Rotella for about 7000 miles. No ill affects, just no tick. from what I understand, 15/40 is the specified viscosity for exported jeeps, and that the 10/30 spec is for US CAFE...
