I'd go with the 06 - just because it's newer with fewer miles. 19K is maybe 1k-1.5k high since, as neat said, those add-ons aren't real value adders - just eye candy (unless you really are going to...

I was in the same boat two years ago when I was in the market for a new Wrangler. My wife's logic convinenced me to go with the Rubi - If it has more in it, then go for it. I didn't hesitate.

Zeep,
You know, I probably should have done a 5 tire - would have lasted longer; at least a bit. But the tread wear is on all of them so that would mean I would have run into this wear in 8000...

06 Rubicon Unlimited Tires

Well, after 35,000 miles and despite diligent rotationing, the ol' MTRs are a mess. So it's time to re-tire (I wish retire as well...).

The stock tires, LT245/75R16 are 30.7" diameter and 9.7"...

BTW, the V6 has a bit more HP but the I6 has a bit more torque.

I was going to buy mine in spring of 06 but saw the pictures of the new 4 door. So I waited until Sept.
Though the 07+ has a bit...

5.5K is just fine. I just sold the same year but 4 cyl. and 124K miles for just a little under that.

Time for a road trip - not a big jaunt though. Don't charge the AC until next spring and do...

You're assuming $3000 will cover it. I'll bet you'll stick a lot more than that into it - you don't know if a tranny rebuild will do it, axle might need to be replaced, etc.

You wanted our...

In my opinion, don't buy headaches. You really don't know what condition the tranny is in until you can start it and move it around.

Just keep saving until you can buy what you really want. ...

My first impression is that the seller may be imbellishing a bit. I don't think Rubicons ever had ABS or keyless entry.

3644 seems awfully, awfully low. An explanation of that would be...

In all honesty, 4K seems high for all the work you have to/need to do even considering what's on the Jeep.

You can get a little-modified ready-to-go YJ for about that price (or a grand more)....

Son's 95 4cyl with 124K running great. Since I only start it once a week (at the most), it may sputter at startup due to condensation (probably), in a couple a minutes it just purrs. Only motor...

Bought my son a 95 4 cyl three years ago.
