I wouldn't think so with a drill. I didn't have to spin very fast at all with it to get oil pumping. I put assembly lube on the cam gear and distributor gear.

I filled both of them until they stopped bubbling air out the top. I lost a little when threading them in but not much. The Fram held a lot more oil than the Microguard, too.

I am still confused on why there was no oil in the Microguard filter, but I hope you're right and that is the end of it. Maybe the filter got clogged and it started bypassing, then drained back out...

That was my first thought on the filter. I scratched my head a little when I first pulled it off and nothing came out. I will get the mechanical gauge and see if it builds pressure with the drill...
