I believe only 4 bangers had the hydraulic clutch. My 80 was a 4 cyl and had the hydraulic setup which was transferred to my current setup.

Mine originally had the 4 cyl, the gears are 3.54 which match the stamp on the rearend housing. Which are perfect gears for the SBC in it now. I'm sure you could've ordered taller gears from AMC.

Mine has a SBC, sm456 and a D300 but the placement should be close. I haven't added a interior boot to the trans yet. LMC truck has a round boot that I plan on using eventually.
