I use my old fashioned 4" bench vice.

I use a socket over the inner end of the lug bolt.
Pinch the socket and the lung bolt between the jaws of the vice.
Tighten the vice as much as I can....

My battery reads around 12.85v an hour after shut off.

Ease v efficiency.

Mount the lights a bit back on the roof to avoid...

It takes but a very light clamp to close heater hose off.

I'm more worried about the clamp dropping off than I'm worried about damaging the hose.

It's 20 degrees on the right side of boiling point with a 15psi cap.

You'd best check, or have your car checked to see if you've got a leaky gasket though.
