Had the same problem and fixed it mostly with a Ball hammer and the anvil, Wile it was out, I re-cut some the teeth on the ratchet for a nicer fit and it is still working fine after now many years...

I hate throwing parts at things, had it been one wheel I would suggest the reinforced flex lines to the calipers. I have never had two go bad at one time.
