Optima yellowtop failure?

Suddenly yesterday afternoon 2000 TJ had a hard time starting. Barely turned over as though battery was low. This morning it couldn't even turn over all the way and wouldn't start.

Headlights were...

Yeah, and too bad because it's such a perfect size for a TJ.*

Come to think of it, you don't really see 265/80 R16 but you do see a lot of 265/75 R17, so if I get new wheels I guess they should be...

Tyler, if you have to do new ATs the radial BFG AT/KO are good on the highway, quiet and long-lasting. Good everywhere except mud where they truly suck. I've seen the BFG AT Long Trail still...

15" wheels considered obsolete now?

Been looking in local classifieds for tires and seeing very little for 15" wheels.

Just need 33"x10.5" R15 tires which used to be common. Now it's all 16", 17", 20" , or that abomination 16.5".

My 2000 SE has always been quieter than most Jeeps I've driven. Still pretty quiet for a Jeep after 10 years and 100,000 miles.

But when I was test driving different used ones in 2000, there was...

How do you get 'em out?

Thermostat or what?--please help me diagnose this

Just lately my 2000 2.5L is sometimes able to maintain temp (up to 209F then back down to 205F) and sometimes temp rises up over 220F and climbs from there.

Q: just a faulty thermostat that...

Part of my concern is that I had just replaced the serpentine belt, and this over-heat/blown hose happened on the first outing where the engine fully heated up (was very cold here early last week)....

Blown lower radiator hose--can I drive it a block?

Engine overheated climbing the canyon toward my house and I pulled over when I saw it heading toward the red. Soon as I turned off the engine the lower radiator hose blew with a bang.

Q: My...
