I'm pretty sure I didn't have to change my pedal assembly when I upgraded my old '80 CJ7 to hydro. Just bought the late model 4 cylinder clutch master and it bolted right up. That was about 15 years...

UCF Lopro mount does not fit my '97

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong, but there is no way this is going to work. The bolt cannot go in as the mount is right up against the transfer case. Even if it did i'm pretty sure the transfer...

I sold my CJ7 when my daughter was a toddler to by something safer. I've regretted it ever since. To top it off my daughter who is now 11 says she can't believe I sold such a beautiful Jeep.

There is a ton of info on this site for XJ high pinion 30 and Explorer 8.8 axle swaps. I find it easier to use Google with a Jeepforum search filter than to use the boards built-in search feature....

For the first gear issue, if you cut the engine off will it then go into first easily? If so it's probably a seized pilot bearing.

Wow! Do you see any damage to the ring gear or pinion or the housing itself? Maybe you can get away with just replacing the carrier and spider gears.
