If you only going an 1" I would go with a body lift. It's not terribly noticeable, the only place you might notice it is in the rear, but a decent bumper with tire carrier will cover that right up.

I have never seen a Liberty the ran well, most seem to be one problem after the next, especially the early ones. There are better 4x4s in this class of vehicles sadly none are made by Chrysler....

For those types of usage the patriot should work fine, any reason why you wouldn't keep the wagoneer for off road adventures. I mean liability has to be pretty cheap, and I would guess it's paid off?

I believe the tow rating is 2000lbs for the 2dr same as the standard TJ. It's 3500lbs for the LJ and 4dr JK.

I agree that is a messed up setup. As others have said get and adjustable track bar, move it back to the factory location, grind off the custom mount, get a OEM pitman arm, and install that too....

Rubicon gives you a different transfer case gearing, D44 front, and lockers front and rear. I would say the extra $4K is worth it.
