What motor? The lockup torque converter is not a factor at idle. What does it idle at in neutral? Did you look for broken vac lines etc..

And it also powers the fuel injectors. As said look into the 02's and check that the wires going to them. Make sure that are not rubbing anywhere that could ground out the circuit and blow the fuse.

More info would help. Aluminum slots where made by different manufactures and different years so they can differ in appearance and type. I would tend to stay away from the unilug design.

All magnum 5.2's have a casting # of 53006714 or 53006657 along with a "318" casting on the drivers side of the block. Doesn't make a difference if it came from a 92 or a 99 it's the same block....

ATF+4 is an upgraded version of dextron. Trans should work on either but the ATF+4 is more suited for it's improvements (synthetic). If you are changing the fluid put in ATF+4
