Any tj with the 2.5 will work. I am thinking 2003...

Any tj with the 2.5 will work. I am thinking 2003 was the last year of the 2.5 in the tj before they went to the 2.4's. It also has an external slave cylinder. i don't think I saw what year our jeep...

40 is the most splines you can get for any axle at this point.we all know how fast that changes. what rob said + the more splines you have, the bigger the shaft has to be to accomodate all of those...

i am running a tj long shaft and 35's with a locker... i also carry spare shafts. haven't had to use one yet. it is my daily driver. i drive it like i stole it usually.

either slave cylinder/throw out bearing... or more than likely it is all the intake modifications you have done. it is fairly common to hear a whistle after you remove the stock air box.
