For a DD, it's great! My wife and kids love it. But for rock crawling, it's not a good idea but I have read that those who have these removed the steps (only) which is not a hard thing to do.

If 285s on 5" BS Moabs (with no spacers) already rub, do you think 285s on a 4.75" BS wheel would rub? That 0.25" of additional BS may not be much but it may be good enough to clear some rubbing...

Except for the Rubicons, all Wranglers look like crap with their factory stance. A minimum of 32s with 2" lift would make an LJ look decent, 33s-35s with 3"-4" lift would probably yield the best...

On something that can be a safety issue as this, I would rather go with a reputable brand that had been used and tested by the Jeep community. That means Spidertrax, even if it costs a little more.

City fuel consumption with 32s and 4.88s = 9mpg to 11mpg. I like the space. Really comes in handy. When I look at SWBs now, including 2-dr JKs, they looked cramped in the back.
