Is the valve cover steel or plastic? If plastic or thin steel that is prone to leaking, I would probably look for a cast aluminum cover with a thicker sealing edge.

Concentrate on the valve cover...

Vacuum reading was taken from base of Q-jet....

Vacuum reading was taken from base of Q-jet. Camshaft is ground on a 110 LSA.

The single diaphragm CJ brake power booster is plumbed to intake manifold. I'll take a reading there in the next day...
