Past threads about the AC staying on were related to having the selector in the defrost position. Your issue appears to be more complicated than that.

One turn works, if both wheels turn exactly together.

When you turn one wheel one turn, you would have to X2 the drive shaft rotations for the number to be the gear ratio.

The one tire will need to be spun 2 revolutions, while making sure the opposite tire doesn't turn at all. The number of drive shaft rotations will be the gear ratio.

The headlights get pure dc when the ignition is off. If your headlights behave the same with the ignition on and off, it's not a pwm issue.
