If it has ABS, it means it has the dana 35 rear axle. You are better off with no ABS and the Chrysler 8.25. :)

The ones i saw were steel which are significantly cheaper than aluminum but still they were about half the price of new ones. I run 3.75" backspacing and i really like the width with my 10" wheels....

Different manufacturers have different spring rates and therefore different unsprung lengths for the same lift spring. Those look like 3" springs to me. I think my 4.5" springs are around 21".

People but 12.5" wide tires on 8" wide wheels all the time. 10.5" shouldn't be too wide for a 7" wide wheel as long as the tire is big enough for the sidewall to conform.

I paid $100 for my 8.8 and did the swap for $580 with a truss and solid diff cover, and extra axle shafts. Then i found a Detroit locker for $325. Total cost $905 which i think is pretty cheap....
