Will a cj5 driveshaft work in a 1991 cherokee?

I have a 1991 Cherokee 4.0 5 speed 4x4 and it's missing the front driveshaft.

My friend has a cj5 front driveshaft laying around and I was wondering if it would work on the Cherokee?

Thanks!
