Looks good to me. Check the wattage limits for your state to be sure its street legal (if you want to). I say 4, you can always just use 2 but having 3 IMO looks bad. 2/4 Is way better.

Is there LEDs that drop in? I would be all over this if there are. I like the whole LED/Smoke thing, sort of like some of the newer tail/brake lights.

In my 99 there is two speakers with grills in the left and right side of the roof near the tailgate.

Bad wiring is common on the front speakers, check where it passes through the door to kickpanel.

I'd go for the wider ones. Snowshoe effect - more surface area means less weight per square inch on the sand, hence you stay up. You don't want to dig to the bottom like you might in mud with skinny...
