Highway driving has been sluggish and gas mileage is horrible. My ZJ has the 30/44a axles. I'm looking to regear to 4.56s or 4.88s. Which would you recommend?

My 97 came with a 249 and a bad viscous coupler. I'm one of the few that like being full-time 4WD, so I forked the cash to get a new viscous coupler and fixed my 249. Worth it.

It could be the crankshaft sensor, cam sensor, fuel pump or ignition sensor. In my case, it was the ignition sensor.

Ok, think I figured it out. This might not be causing the steering issue, but would probably need to upgrade my steering linkage to a 1/2" over the knuckle steering along with a new steering box.

I had to cut my battery cables in order to put new battery terminals. One of the positive wires ended up being a hair too short and doesn't properly secure in the new battery...
