Sbc for my cj5 build choices

I have a '76 SBC 350 .030 over with flat-top 4 valve relief federal pistons that I am rebuilding/refreshing for my 76 CJ-5. The heads off this engine are 388's with 172/150 valves and 74cc...

Took a look at an exaust leak on my right side and found that my headder is cracked 3/4 of the way around at the collector. I don't know if I'll weld repair it or buy new ones...

I was looking at the emission laws and in VA and you can't change any emission equipment installed on a vehicle after '67.
