Can anyone confirm that the weld-on-frame mounts of a 2.5 and 4.0 are different? I thought maybe the engine brackets were too short but mounted to my new 4.0 they dont reach the welded mounts.

Even new bearings? Wasn't giving me any problems. I think my thicker oil hid the noise. Only a slight ticking noise.

That doesn't sound right. My dash lights only come on when I flip my head lights on. If my headlights are off, doesn't matter if ignition is on or off, dash stays off. Are you saying light come one...

Only thing I could imagine is to rotate the LEDs one by one so the contact points are rotated when they plug into the cluster unit. I was thinking grounding issue until you said the original bulbs...

So I believe then my 94 d35 yoke is too big, or something. Here's a pic of the xj's u joint in the yoke of my d35 you can see with one cap seated the other cap is maybe 1/4...
